Our performance-first approach to music lessons in Denver, CO, sets us apart from other music schools. Our students play in live bands with their peers, developing rhythm, teamwork, and stage presence through live rehearsals, rather than simply practicing on their own. Our curriculum uses a progression system with levels, badges, and challenges that keep students focused and excited to improve their skills every week. Each of our instructors is a working musician who customize lesson plans to every student’s skill level, favorite genres, and personal goals, whether they love rock, jazz, country, musical theater, or something totally unique.

Taking Denver music lessons with Rock The Stages gives students more than just new skills. Our music lessons are designed to build a foundation that give students confidence, a stronger sense of self-expression, and a sense of community. As students improve their musical technique and expand what they’re able to play, many of them find improvements throughout their lives, including in social skills and school. With our year-round event calendar, students are able to build real performance skills and the confidence to play music in front of a live audience. And for families that homeschool, our programs offer a structured social experience that helps support academic study.
